Quality and food safety
Consumers are placing increasing importance on safety and quality of food products. Pakstation Joosen meets the consumers requirements, taking care of the process and paying attention to quality and food safety.
The first requirement is that all growers of Pakstation Joosen are at least certificated for EurepGAP or GlobalGAP with current standards. These certificates will give consumers the assurance that during the whole process the responsibilities with regards to food safety, animal welfare, environmental and occupational health will have sufficient attention and accountability.
Pakstation Joosen is certified for Skal, BRC grade A and IFS Higher level. This indicates that Pakstation Joosen meets the specific requirements regarding quality and food. Pakstation Joosen is also a member of Food Compass. This organization takes care of research for chemical residues. The incoming fruit and vegetables are controlled by quality managers of Pakstation Joosen and the outgoing products are selected at random for quality control.
Pakstation Joosen informs and trains not only the permanent staff, but also the temporary staff, regularly, ensuring that health and food safety are of sufficient quality.
